My current plan is to move to D.C. and get a temp job while I look for something more focused on international development with an NGO. Any idea how easy it is to get temp jobs there? Can anyone recommend any agencies?

Before you pack, check out the cost of living first. You won't survive in a decent area by working in a fast food restaurant. So you may want to explore living outside of the city, like 50 miles away in Fredericksburg, VA or Stafford.

C D L jobs in Atlanta, Ga?
I am looking for a good paying job in Atlanta, Ga as a C D L driver. i have been driving trator-trailer for 9 years. i have a class A license. i live in south Fl but want to move to Ga can someone please tell me who is hring for CDL class a driver (tractor-trailer) and is pay good. i prefer to work locally not over the road but i will if i can come home every night.

I am 17 yr boy and I wanted to do some 'work at home jobs' and tried most of them like surveys,proofreaders,reading emails and gettting paid,writing blogs for money.Some of them worked but paid very little amount. So i want to know is there any real job anyone can tell me which is like real .
I know much about C++ programming and can make softwares using it. I have already made some good projects for school and were appreciated. Can anyone give msome job related to C++ programming. I dont expect much money till the user of that software is completely satisfied with it.

Have you tried the shareware root? Publishing some of your software, or a slightly less able version, and collecting money for the full licensed version?
The key thing here would be to find a niche, and make some specialized application that is available no where else. I've see success with things like file converters, media players for certain devices - I paid for a media player for my GPS recently.

Can C++ Programmers find jobs?
I read an article about 5 min ago i cant find the page again though , it was going on about that C++ programmers are finding it hard to get jobs because C++ programs take longer than other languages to make, I understand what it means because C++ is one of the meanest languages out but is it still worth learning it or moving onto another language like C# or java for when I leave school (in a few months), go to University and then start applying for programmer jobs, will people who can code in other languages get the jobs because they can produce the finished software quicker?

C++ programmers are not being outsourced. SAP and other database , non programming, IT jobs are being outsourced.
Java and Python are quicker languages, but C++ is more robust and is object orientated and provides things that the other languages do not.
It matters not about which language is quicker. What matters is what the code the company is using when they hire you. If they already have a huge infrastructure in Fortran, they are not going to switch to Java just like that. As a programmer one should be able to switch to any language easily and adapt to whatever the company needs. This way you will be more marketable than someone that vehemently only codes in one or two languages.

In my opinion, there is an abundant demand for both areas and you shouldn't be concerned with which has more, since all you need to get is one entry level job. Also, C# and Java are very similar from a syntax standpoint, so you should be able to adopt one from the other. Besides, a good developer should be able to adopt and adapt to other/new technologies since technology is always evolving and improving.
