I am looking for a good paying job in Atlanta, Ga as a C D L driver. i have been driving trator-trailer for 9 years. i have a class A license. i live in south Fl but want to move to Ga can someone please tell me who is hring for CDL class a driver (tractor-trailer) and is pay good. i prefer to work locally not over the road but i will if i can come home every night.

Ga dept of transportation is looking for someone with a CDL to work out of Clayton GA in the southern part of metro Atlanta according to www.thejobsite.org which is the state of GA employment listings.
You'll need a GA CDL of course and HAZMAT will help a lot since most of the propane companies will be hiring extra help right now. Unless of course you prefer tp stay away from HAZMAT for which I certainly could not blame you.
The "Usual Suspects"who hire frequently and have you home each night include Milton Foods, Cargil in Gainesville just NE of Atlanta, Clermont Trucking also NE of Atlanta. The later two tend towards either very early or very late hrs but you are home that day every day.
