Im only a C average student, will I be limited to sucky jobs?

First term of this year I got: 68% in English, 52% in Biology, 71% in Social Studies, and 60% in math..... what do I have to work with here?

Im only a C average student, will I be limited to sucky jobs?
71% in Social Studies? you sound like me, social minded. keep in mind there are multiple intelligence types just because you don't score great in one field dosnt mean you will suck at all of them.

No you wont be limited to sucky jobs.

i only just managed to get into my top uni preference, but when your at uni its determination not intelligence that determines your mark.

so no matter how bad your high school (or collage or whatever its called there) marks are, if you are determined you can go on to do a PhD if you wanted to (what i am now looking at, your marks are about the same as what mine were.)

Also not every one learns well in a school environment so once you leave school you may find your Tafe/uni marks a lot higher than you expect or you are achieving a lot better than your peers.

so aim high and you will get a great job.
Reply:I'm pretty sure you won't be rolling in dough for quite a few years, but if you work hard enough, you could become pretty successful. But yeah, unless you're lucky, you're probably gonna have a pretty sucky job.

By the way, if this is college we're talking about, you'd better get out quick or get your grades up.
Reply:as long as you pass school, no job is going to look at your grades. they only care if you have a degree.
Reply:You've got whatever you want to work with. Don't limit yourself to what your grades are telling you - they're just numbers in a gradebook. You have the potential to be whatever you want to be... Your grades either reflect your inabliity to get help in subjects you need help in, or you are just lazy, and don't perform as well as you could to get an A.

Soooo... you know, you're average. If you don't put a lot in, you're not going to get a lot out. Step up your grades, and you'll feel a whole lot better about yourself. Improve your chances of getting into college, of getting the job of your dreams - don't measure success by others standards, if you are happy with where you are, screw everyone else. If not, you're going to have to do whatever it takes to get where you want to go, don't settle for "what do I have to work with here," strive for what you want to work with in order to get to where you want to be.

good luck! :)
Reply:those are not C average. 52% in biology? thats a D- average you have there buddy.

depending on your definition of 'sucky' you may or may not exceed expectations. dont expect a high-exec position at this rate, but maybe a office grunt.
