Leaving job b/c of breakup?

I was dating this guy I work with for 4 months. Please spare the lectures on dating ppl u work with...I learned the hard way. So anyways, he cheated on me. Not only that but made me a laughingstock for it at work b/c I was so stupid, %26amp; one of my best friends/roomate who also works there knew about it the whole time but didn't rat him out b/c then he would tell her bf about her cheating.

Long story but a jerk that used to work there I lost my virginity to %26amp; both guys really ended up hurting me. Another guy there tried to get with me %26amp; nothing happened really but I did find out he was cheating on his gf with others. After all that's happened at that stupid fast food place, I don't want to stick around. But for my new app. I need an "actual reason" for leaving. What do I put? B/c I don't think I would get hired by putting the truth.

Leaving job b/c of breakup?
leaving your job because of a breakup,

is very unprofessional.
Reply:And you certainly should not put all of that crap on your application as a reason for leaving your previous job....that would be a sure fire way of NOT getting a new job!!

You can always put down "looking for new opportunities", "interested in pursuing a new career direction" or something like that....
Reply:You may just put in a transfer if you are looking to work in the same field of work.

Either that or just say you are seeking a change of pace and new experience in a different working environment.
Reply:You don't have to tell any employer anything about your personal life.

Just advise that you're wanting to explore new job opportunities. You can say that you want to a position that offers more opportunities to grow within the company.

The main thing is to leave on good terms with the supervisor/manager so when the new company you've applied with calls they will give a good reference for you.

Do yourself a favor and keep your thoughts of leaving to yourself if at all possible. There is no need to have all those that have made your life hell knowing you're wanting to leave. All they will do it make things worse for you. They may also try and find out where you've applied and ruin new opportunities for you.
Reply:don't put you left for a realtionship reasons. Put you needed a change or say that you were looking for something a bit diffrent. Putting you left because you got cheated on bu one of your coeworker, is not going to look very good. At your next job try not to sleep around with the guys. I dont have a problem with dating guys from work, but just not all of them.
Reply:Just say that it was a place of work that was immature and non professional and wasn't a place where you wanted to be at or work at. The truth wouldn't be appropriate to put on the application but you can say it was unprofessional because it was and not somewhere that you could advance! Sorry that you had to go through that, it seems unnecessary and stressful - at least you learned from it!
Reply:I was in the same situation until I ended this am. found out the guy has been seeing several people that we work with(n a hospital) at the same time. he constantly denied it and today i looked at his phone records and find out. u shouldn't b hurt behind a sorry *** man. u deserve better and there is some1 out there that will treat u the way u should b treated.
Reply:just tell them you were looking for something different
Reply:whoa complicated story

just tell them u r going back to school
Reply:Put that it was a hostile work environment.
