What are the best ways to learn C#??

Do you guys recommend real books or ebooks?

Any specific books ( I am a newbie)?

How many hours should I spend studying it(per day)?

I am thinking applying for a C# job in 8 months.

Thanks guys

ok , s/w languages can be tricky if u try to learn them by self-studying them, if you self - study something ( its good no doubt ) you might not be able to get the appropriate exposure to the stringent and complex ways in which a s/w works , so a group study or a course for that matters helps which enables a newbie to blend into thoughts and new ideas which are possible plus you would also know what is really expected in real time, so prefrentially apply for a course , and get yourself enuff Man-hours to complete clearing the basics of understanding the programming codec and language, :)
Reply:I like WROX books. I've been a professional software developer since 1992. I've been developing with C# for the last three years. The WROX books are generally well written and have lots of online help as well. If you are serious about becoming a software developer, spend as much time as you can learning the stuff, read forums, join user groups, etc. Part of being a good developer is learning how to solve problems without being spoon fed. Software development is HARD. It comes with years of practice and is constantly changing. No matter how good you get at it, there's always something new to learn.
