Well, depends on what you like. Most Computer Science degrees cover a range of computing fields including programming, database, system analysts etc. First, choose a field you are really interested in.





Now, after you chose one, this will determine the types of companies and jobs you can go for. For instance, if you chose to be a programmer specialty you can work for software companies just about anywhere in the world. If you chose databases, you can make a killing at large companies like Microsoft/Oracle.





Just look on IT job boards for jobs that interest you. Most of the jobs you will find will require a CS degree. Some cities that are hot for computing are...





1) Seattle - Software design mainly in the areas in the medical field and biotechnology





2) Vancouver Canada - Great for software design of all kinds





3) Houston/Dallas Texas - Great for databasing and datawarehouses





4) Chicago Illinois - Great for ISP/Datewarehousing/embedded systems





5) New York City - Great for communication companies and ISP companies which have their headquarters there.





If you want to make a lot of money, do databases/datawarehousing.... but programming and software design can make you a great amount of money too. (I am a programmer)
